Extreme Restraints founded because of lack of selection.
The owners of Extreme Restraints, Kelly and Ari, started the company because they felt there was a lack of availability of bdsm toys. The toys available at the time were either super cheap and would easily break; or, were lovingly hand crafted and deservedly expensive. There wasn't a middle market and it was very hard to find the good quality hand made bdsm equipment. It was also evident that most of the cheap ones that were available were downright dangerous.
